Headaches / Migraine
There are many different types of headaches which we see at our Newport Clinic. The two most common are:
Cervicogenic Headaches
These headaches occur when the upper part of the neck becomes misaligned or restricted therefore causing irritation to the surrounding soft tissues and nerves. This normally manifests itself as pain in the back and front of the head which is usually one sided.
Migraine Headaches
Migraine is a common health condition, it usually presents as severe headache felt as a throbbing pain at the front or side of the head. These symptoms can last anything from a few days up to a few weeks.
Cervicogenic and Migraine headaches are common presentations at Ridgeway chiropractic Clinic. Cervicogenic patients often experience immediate relief from the symptoms of the headache following treatment. While Migraine patients experience a significant reduction in the frequency and intensity of their headache.
